The Centurion is published monthly on or about the first of the month, and is the official newsletter of The 3905 Century Club. Deadline for submissions is seven (7) days prior to the 1st of the following month. If you are submitting an article, please do the following ……. WORD doc or docx file, pics should be jpg files. If you embed the pics, not too big, not postage stamp size. Please limit the size of your submissions to be no more than six (6) pages, longer articles can/will be split over consecutive issues.
The Centurion contains a wealth of interesting information about current Club events and Club members. It will typically run about 20 pages, 8.5"x11". Contents include: bullet points referring to actions taken by the Board of Directors, messages from club officers and VIPs (President, Vice president, Area Directors/Officers, Award Secretary, Centurion Editor, etc.), Club statistics (Net stats, Member stats, Award stats), member submitted articles, and much more. The goal of the Editor is to have The Centurion be your goto place for all relevant Club info.
Our members make up a unique and fascinating segment of hamdom and have built up a treasure trove of stories to tell over the history of our Club (founded Feb 1977) and you can read all about it in The Centurion.
Numbering:
Volumes up through 1998 were numbered as Volume 1 - Volume 19, with some duplicate numbering across years.
1999 issues were numbered as Volume 16.
Volumes prior to 2000 spanned calendar years.
Starting with the year 2000, Volumes were numbered according to the year.
Note: We are missing some back issues. If you have a copy that the club is missing from its archives, please reach out to the webmaster to close that gap!
